When someone I met barely 2 days ago shared with me some of her funny, weird & exciting memories, and I had little to show for what I had done for the ~16 years that I’ve lived, I realised how dull my life is. I’m an introvert and honestly, I didn’t feel really bad about it until I saw how happening the life of an extrovert is. This vibrancy that I envy can only come from socialising with people. And doing things I’d normally consider stupid like making tiktoks and posing stupidly for pictures.
Turns out, as I'm reflecting on this almost a year later, the line "I had little to show for what I had done for the ~16 years that I've lived" is not true. My life is, in fact, very exciting. And best part? It's exciting in the way I want it to be. I just hadn't the confidence to tell her right at the moment. I misattributed the problem. :)
