writing off my motivation slump.
I’ve read enough people say that motivation is a myth. And that willpower is something we can control. And that clarity is what we lack, not motivation.
And all of this is true. It’s just not obvious when you actually feel unmotivated. But I feel that writing about it has helped me get over the slump I’ve been through the past couple of days.
But as I think deeper, we get unmotivated when we don’t have a list of exciting things to do and why to do it. (Because motivation is, well, a reason to do something). So this is probably the best tip: make a list of things to get done the next day before you sleep. With exact steps. And with why it’s important.
